Responsible body

Thank you for visiting my website. First of all, I would like to introduce myself as the responsible body within the meaning of data protection law:

Alexander Raab Life & Career Coach

Alexander Raab
Schulstrasse 29

Mail: info (at) alexanderraab.ch

I would like to inform you about the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with the legal obligation.

General information

When you use my website, personal data is collected about you. This can be done by you entering the data yourself - such as your e-mail address. However, the system also collects data from you automatically, such as your visit to my website. This happens regardless of which device or software you use to access my website.

Any input of data by you on my website is voluntary; you will not suffer any disadvantages if you do not disclose your data. Without certain data, however, it is not possible for me to provide services or conclude contracts. I will draw your attention to such mandatory information in each case.

On this website, personal data of the user is only collected within the framework of the applicable data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The technical terms used in the text are explained in more detail in Art. 4 of the GDPR.

Data processing is permitted under the GDPR in three cases in particular:

  • in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and 7 GDPR, if you have consented to data processing by us; in each case, we will inform you in advance in this data protection declaration and on the occasion of the consent in accordance with Art. 4 No. 11 GDPR exactly for what purpose and under what circumstances your data will be processed by us;

  • pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the initiation, conclusion or execution of a contractual relationship;

  • in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, if, after a balancing of interests, the processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests; this includes in particular our interests in analyzing, optimizing and securing the offer on our website - this includes in particular an analysis of user behavior, the creation of profiles for advertising purposes and the storage of access data as well as the use of third-party providers.

Inventory data, usage data and advertising

Inventory data

I collect inventory data (e.g. name, address and e-mail address, any services used) insofar as they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of a contractual relationship between me and the user.

Usage data

I also collect usage data (e.g. visits to the website, interest in products) in order to enable and bill the user for the use of the services on my website.

I will only merge usage data if and insofar as this is necessary for billing purposes. Otherwise, I will only create usage data pseudonymously and only if you have not objected to this. You can send this objection at any time to the address given in the legal notice or to the controller named in this privacy policy.

The legal basis for this data processing is, on the one hand, my legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in the analysis of the website and its use and, if applicable, also the legal permission to store data in the context of the initiation of a contractual relationship pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Furthermore, my provider stores information, the so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser each time you use this website. These are

  • Your IP address

  • Type and version of your browser

  • Hostname

  • Time of visit

  • the page from which you visited my site,

  • Name of the page accessed,

  • exact time of the call and

  • the amount of data transferred.

This data is only used for statistical purposes and does not allow me to identify you as a user.

Advertising

Before sending you advertising, I will ask you for your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 4 No. 11 GDPR, unless it is advertising for similar products that you have already purchased. This is done in particular when you give me your consent to send you my newsletter or fill out a contact form.

Consent

Where I ask for your consent to process your data, I will inform you in clear and easily accessible language about the cases for which you are giving your consent. Any consent I ask for is voluntary, any benefit you wish to obtain by giving consent can be obtained without consent, just ask.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. This can be done by an informal message, e.g. via our contact form, an e-mail to the e-mail address given in the imprint or an unsubscribe link (if offered by us). Your revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Storage duration

Your data will only be stored for as long as required for the purpose of the respective data processing. Further storage may be considered in particular if this is still necessary for legal prosecution by me or for my other legitimate interests or if I am required by law to retain your data (e.g. within the scope of tax retention periods, which are generally 6 or even 10 years).

Cookies

My website uses cookies as part of my legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, so that my offer can be used better, more effectively and more securely. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and store certain data about your user behavior on my site so that, for example, an offer can be made that corresponds to your previous use. These may be so-called "session cookies", which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit to my website. However, there are also cookies that are permanently stored on your computer unless you delete them. This enables us to recognize your browser the next time you visit my website and to make you offers that correspond to your previous use of our website.

If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the cookies in question are stored exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.

Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, I will inform you about this separately in the context of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

Your browser allows you to prevent the use of cookies completely or in individual cases. Please refer to the operating instructions for your browser for more information. Blocking cookies may restrict the function of our website and other websites you visit.

You can permanently prevent the storage of cookies in your browser by downloading and installing the plugin linked below. Here you will find more detailed information.

You can also prevent the use of cookies by third-party providers by opting out on the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative in accordance with the instructions there. Here you will find more detailed information. You can find a similar offer on this US website and at this European service.

Borlabs Cookie

This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs-cookie) to store your cookie consent.

Borlabs Cookie does not process any personal data.

The borlabs cookie stores the consent you gave when you entered the website. If you wish to revoke this consent, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you re-enter/reload the website, you will be asked for your cookie consent again.

Disclosure to third parties

I don't like spam any more than you do. I will therefore not pass on your data to third parties unless this is permitted by law.

Your data may be passed on either

  • necessary for the performance of a contract and then permitted under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR or

  • be permitted on the basis of my legitimate interest in effective service design pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR,

  • be covered by a consent given by you or

  • become necessary if we are lawfully required by a state or authority to disclose your data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

Insofar as your data is passed on to third parties, this is listed in this privacy policy.

Rights of the users

Information
You can request information from me at any time and free of charge about the personal data I have stored about you. In order to prevent misuse, identification of your person is required.

Deletion, correction, restriction

You can request the correction (also by supplementing) of incorrect data at any time as well as a restriction of its processing or the deletion of your data. This applies in particular if the purpose of the processing has expired, a required consent has been revoked and there is no other legal basis or our data processing is unlawful. We will then immediately correct, block or even delete your personal data within the legal framework.

Contradiction

For the right to object to the receipt of advertising, my text on consent applies: You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. This can be done by sending an informal message, e.g. via an e-mail to the e-mail address given in the imprint or an unsubscribe link (if offered by us). Your revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Data transmission

You can request the transfer of your personal data stored by me in machine-readable form.

Complaint

If you feel that your rights have been violated by my data processing, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Changes to the privacy policy

If it becomes necessary to change the privacy policy for legal or factual reasons, I will update this page accordingly. No changes will be made to the consent given by the user.

Encryption of data input

When you enter data on my website, whether on a contact form, during registration, logging in or for payment purposes, the web page on which you enter the data is encrypted. This means that third parties cannot read what data you enter. You can recognize the encryption by the lock symbol in your browser and by the fact that the address line begins with "https" instead of just "http".

Contact forms

If you fill out a contact form or send me an e-mail or other electronic message, your details will be stored for processing the request, possible follow-up questions or related further questions and used only in the context of the request.

The input of your data is encrypted, so that third parties cannot read your data when you enter it.

The basis for this storage is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, which you give me by filling out the contact form or your other request. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an informal message (e.g. via contact form or email). This revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Your data will remain stored as long as it is necessary to process the request, in particular as long as storage is still required for contract fulfillment/processing, for legal prosecution by me or for our other legitimate interests, or as long as I am legally required to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods).

Newsletter

If you order the newsletter offered on my website, your data will not be passed on to third parties and will only be used for sending the newsletter.

I will only send you the newsletter if you have given me your prior consent. You will receive an e-mail from me with a link and further information and a request for your consent. If you click on this link, you agree to receive the newsletter and advertising from me.

The basis for the storage is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, which you give me when you register for the newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an informal message (e.g. via contact form or email or unsubscribe link in every email). This revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

As I am legally obliged to record your consent as part of the so-called double opt-in, your order of the newsletter, the sending of our consent e-mail and your consent by clicking on the link will be recorded and stored according to time and place as well as with your IP address.

I use the provider Squarespace.com to send the newsletter (as part of our legitimate interest in the technically flawless processing of our customer information and analysis).

For the handling of your data at Squarespace, please refer to Squarespace's privacy policy . Squarespace will only use your data for sending the newsletter and analyzing this mailing on our behalf. Furthermore, Squarespace will only use your data to improve its own service. Squarespace will not use the data to write to you itself or pass your data on to third parties.

Our newsletter provider also uses this data, but only in pseudonymous form (i.e. without enabling your identification) to analyze and optimize its own service. However, your data will never be used by the provider to write to you.

Your data will remain stored as long as it is stored in our e-mail list, the storage is still necessary for legal prosecution by us or for our other legitimate interests or we are legally required to retain your data.

If you order the newsletter offered on our website, we will inform you in detail about what we inform you about, which of your data is stored and what it is used for. We will not pass on your data to third parties and will only use it for sending the newsletter.

We will only send you the newsletter if you have given us your prior consent. You will receive an e-mail from us with a link and further information and a request for your consent. If you click on this link, you agree to receive the newsletter and advertising from us.

The basis for the storage is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, which you give us when you register for the newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an informal message (e.g. via contact form or email or unsubscribe link in every email). This revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

As we are legally obliged to record your consent as part of the so-called double opt-in, your order of the newsletter, the sending of our consent e-mail and your consent by clicking on the link will be recorded and stored according to time and place as well as with your IP address.

YouTube

We use the provider YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for the integration of videos as part of our legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. However, we have integrated our YouTube videos with the extended data protection mode (in this case, YouTube still contacts Google's Double Click service, but according to Google's privacy policy, personal data is not evaluated). This means that YouTube no longer stores any information about visitors unless they watch the video. If you click on the video, your IP address is transmitted to YouTube and YouTube learns that you have watched the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before watching the video).

Our site also uses links to our presence on the social network YouTube. This is a normal link. When you visit our site, YouTube does not find out about your visit to our website. We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by YouTube. You can find more information in YouTube's privacy policy at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ . We also refer you to our general description in this privacy policy for the general handling and deactivation of cookies.

Facebook

Our site uses links to our presence on the Facebook social network of Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. It is just a normal link, so when you visit our site, Facebook does not find out about your visit to our website. However, if you click on the link, you will be forwarded to Facebook, which will also inform Facebook that you have visited our site.

As a result, your data will be transferred to the USA, but Facebook is registered with privacy shield and is obliged to comply with EU data protection rules. You can find more information about your rights here https://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf.

We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by Facebook after clicking on the link. Further information can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php .

This can be used to analyze the use of websites, whereby pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the data. Squarespace uses various techniques for this purpose, including storing cookies on your computer. These store information about the use of our site, which we use to improve our offer.

Google Maps

I use the Google Maps API, a map service of Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA ("Google"), to display an interactive map as part of my legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

By using Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there, in particular through active Java scripts. Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield Framework, more information on your rights can be found at https://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf.

If you do not wish your data to be transmitted, you can deactivate the execution of Java scripts in your browser or install a blocker that prevents the execution of Java scripts (e.g. https://noscript.net). However, we would like to point out that this may impair the use of our and other websites.

As part of our legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, I integrate the fonts ("Google Fonts") of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
